Well it was the basic normal..rather boring trip to the Airport to pick up the Mom (in-law)… yeah, car to the train… train to the airport… stand around… wait wait… while everything runs a couple hours late. Well, as me and my wife were waiting at the baggage claim entrance, we were standing near the railing there was was an elderly lady standing there with us. Then without any warning, the old lady started to slide down in floor… Talk about alarming! –and nope no TSA/Swat or even first responders showed up… in fact it was several minutes passed before anyone (like someone from the actual airline whose baggage claim we were standing at) even came by to see what was going on… well, the important part was the old lady was fine. She had a fainting spell and someone finally brought over a wheel chair for here to sit in. So on the plus side the lady is ok and finally got going with her relatives… another plus was that some people did stop to help out…

Now as far as all those other people… you know the ones that are suppose to keep the public safe? Yeah, whatever… lots of them walking around the Airport… looking and acting like they are important… in my book- worthless. If you can’t stop long enough from your “protecting the public” to help or at least pretend to help some old lady… ummm, maybe I’m assuming too much…like those people actually give a crap…

Oh, well… it was a fun trip to the airport this year…

Ok... more people are starting to read the blog... and I've been in one of those Busy periods when...I haven't gotten a chance to write much... I've been trying out the new Internet Explorer 8 (IE 8) and my site does report some issues... you can click the capatible button and everything goes works... I guess I'll have to redo some stuff for IE 8.

Also, I just added the twitter counter (I may need more followers)... anywho.

  First of all Let Me State...that I am not a controller MINE MINE MINE....Censor....Bah Bah. I believe that an OPEN Internet is the best Internet......but you know, it really Irks me when I set up a name a.k.a Scott Geek and then someone takes and bakes that into something they want to claim?

 Alright, I'm over it, mostly....and no I will not give up my name.....my handle.....my internet face....ScottGeek until I die! And yes, before I put ScottGeek out there....I searched everything to see if anyone was using/doing ScottGeek....nope nothing there....so I put my stamp on the internet with ScottGeek.com....I even have top listing on Google! Not anymore.... "ScottGeek" search....nope....I'm 2nd! "Scott Geek" ok I'm 1st.....ummm. Damn, sometimes I hate sharing....

 Ok....rant is now over...... Got some new stuff coming for the site as I actually spend some time over the holidays messing with "my" stuff.....

It's been a busy time around the ol'work place....so I haven't got a chance to update the blogware....some day....Yes, I know I haven't blogged much lately...I thnk it's time to rework the main site again....it's looking a bit dated....unkept?

Went into the "big" city to do another tech interview...the dev manager was a nice guy (although I drew a blank on the question concerning Viewstate...I haven't messed with viewstate in awhile... yeap, it that stuff that maintains state from one postback to another). Anywho, the last part of the interview was to write some code...yeah! Write some code on the spot...well, it was somewhat trival...write a onclick event handler for populating some data to a database so a gridview would display it...it was a three tier app with the data and business logic already done. So...did I get it done...well almost... I was having issue with getting down into their business tier class....it was buried a bit deep and I only had about 30 mins....towards the end I did figure out what needed to be done....but I didn't complete the task.... I guess that means that I don't get that job?
